About The College Care Project
At The Greedy House, we spend a lot of time making sure our younger cousins have what they need. But lately, we’ve been getting more and more calls from college students who are trying to make it work between classes, work, transportation, groceries, hygiene needs, and everything else that comes with being on your own.
And it made us realize something:
Somewhere along the way, the big cousins started falling through the cracks.
So we’re doing something about it.
The College Care Project is our pilot program created to support local college students with practical, everyday essentials that can help take a little pressure off while they focus on school and their future.

Who are our College Cousins
For our first semester, we’ll welcome a small group of college students into The Greedy House family as our official Big Cousins.
Instead of reopening registration every month, selected students will remain part of the program for the semester, giving us the opportunity to build relationships, learn what they actually need, and create a program that can grow with purpose.
Our goal isn’t to solve every problem.
It’s to make sure they know they don’t have to figure out every problem alone.
What Support Looks Like
Big Cousins may receive support with food and snacks, hygiene and personal care items, cleaning and laundry supplies, academic essentials, transportation assistance, and other everyday needs as resources are available.
Monthly Campus Survival Kits may include items like ramen, macaroni cups, snacks, water, coffee, toiletries, laundry supplies, notebooks, pens, highlighters, and other useful campus essentials.
